Classes are taught by Lorayne Busby, a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer who currently teaches Hatha Yoga at various studios and gyms in the Los Angeles area.
Lorayne started her yoga/fitness career as a dance and aerobics instructor, choreographing ballet, jazz, and baton routines for the Monterey Dance and Twirl Institute, Jazzercise (back in the 80s at the age of 17) and at the University of California in Santa Barbara.
Nine years ago she took her first yoga class at the Santa Barbara Yoga Center, fell in love immediately with the high and elation yoga blesses you with, and decided to switch from teaching high impact aerobics to Vinyasa/Ashtanga based yoga.
"I've practiced and taught so many forms of fitness; High / Low Impact and Step Aerobics, Kickboxing, Karate, Tai Chi, Spinning, Hip Hop, Weight Training. but none of these activities has given me the euphoria, balance, and peace that yoga has offered me."
